I surprised my husband for his birthday with a one night stay @ the Fleur De Lis Mansion and it was AMAZING!! We stayed in the white room and fell in love with not only our room but the entire mansion. Their attention to detail shows that they thought of everything and have executed it perfectly. Let me add that Lisa was very nice, helpful, welcoming and professional! We are locals but will definitely have more visits to the mansion and absolutely spread the word about this hideaway in the city.

This is my second time staying in New Orleans and this B&B was soo much better than the first. We stayed in the Royal room. The decor was cool, and super easy check in. The bed was sooo comfy it was like sleeping on a loaf of bread. The tub in the room was very nice and the jets worked awesome. Only weird thing that we found was that you better be super comfortable with your roomie cause the toilet is in the same room as the bed. There is a small folding screen but we found that the mirrors in the room reflect the toilet into most directions. I advise facing the fridge on the bed as the best way not to see the other person using the facilities just don't look up into the mirror above the fireplace. That was the only semi-issue we had. The balcony was lovely and even had a grill to use had we been staying for more than a night. There are tons of different lights to mess with in the room and the main ones are on a dimmer switch. The main ones are chandeliers. The doors out to the patio are super neat too. They are windows that slid up. And for some reason there is a cat flap in the one behind the coach but we never saw a cat. There are some birds that live on the balcony which was really the only noise we heard the whole time we where in the room. Which was fine by us. We like nature. We couldn't hear the highway at all from our room. It's a little bit of a walk from the french quarter but there are a couple trollies you can catch so you don't have to walk the whole way. Parking is no problem if you can parallel park. The lady owner was super nice and this was the first place I have ever received text messages for check-in instructions. The breakfast was good and they even have fancy keurigs to use. The kitchen was pretty swank. All and all I would totally recommend rooming here and we maybe back next time we are in New Orleans depending on what area of New Orleans we are staying in.

Booked a room here a couple times for my boss. She's VERY particular about her hotel arrangements, and she's a big fan of the Fleur De Lis. Each time she's stayed here, the innkeeper Lisa has gone above and beyond for her. Just a few things that Lisa has done for my boss: 1) Helped her through a 1am check-in, 2) Provided a personal wake-up call when my boss slept through her alarm, 3) Made sure that my boss received the food that she ordered even though she wasn't at the hotel when the food was delivered. This place is great, and Lisa is great.

My husband and I finally took our honeymoon, and we could not have had a better place to stay. We stayed in the White Room and really enjoyed the cool bath and decor! This place has everything you need and personality to boot. It's an easy walk to the French Quarter, but far enough out for us to get some quality quiet sleep. We really enjoyed staying here, and the staff made it an extra wonderful experience. :)

This pace has everything you want! Anything from a quiet peaceful and relaxing vacation to a party destination. The ambient lighting and high quality amenities are a big plus. My wife and I were there for jazz fest oh and to get married. We definitely want to rent this whole place out and get all our friends to come out! It's located in a very good location right by the garden district and a few minutes away from the French Quarter. Book it now!

This place is an *outstanding gem* in the area! I'm tempted to keep it to myself but the experience was simply too good. The place is amazing! Each room has a different theme and feel - but all are tastefully done with fun extras. The morning breakfast selection was a fabulous way to start the day. (Who doesn't love King Cake for breakfast?) And the owners & staff are genuinely kind, thoughtful, fun people. I'm already looking forward to my next stay here!

I rented the whole house with 9 other guys for a bachelor party and it was amazing !! The house is right near the warehouse district which is the trendy part of NOLA. The house is classic New Orleans and has every luxury a 5 star resort offers. The hosts Jim and Lauren made sure we knew about every aspect of the house so that we maximized our experience !! This place is perfect I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quality place to stay in NOLA.

My wife and i decided to take the megabus to new orleans from atlanta for a short 2 day vacation (thurs 3/27- fri 28) and after hours of deliberation we decided to stay at the mansion despite the limited and mixed reviews available online. i was actually sold on a different hotel originally that i chose based off ratings only but we stumbled upon this gem through expedia on accident at the last minute and i was immediately drawn by unique aesthetic and reasonable price point. this was our first time in new orleans so we had no idea what to expect. we arrived super early in the morning so we figured there was not much to do and we had luggage so we decided to try our luck with early check in. the owners jim and lauren were very personable and accomodating and informed us that no one had stayed in the room (red room) the night before so we could make ourselves comfortable. (woohoo!). to be honest we had a great time in "nawlins" but the mansion was definately the highlight of our trip the decor is very tasteful and modern while still keeping the antique vibe of the original property and neighborhood. it feels very new orleans and i would choose it over any of the known hotel chains/ b&b's in the city especially for nola first timers. its in a very safe and convenient location to all areas of interest but they have just about every amenenity known to man on the property including a soon to be movie theatre you may not even want to leave!! unfortunately is was windy and raining during most of our stay so we didnt get the outdoor jacuzzi or grill area but we will definately be returning in the near future! thanks again!

This place is insane. 16 of us rented out the while house for a bachelor party. Couldn't have picked a better place. It was close enough to all the bars and restaurants. Highly recommend the mansion for anyone looking to have a big group. The party bus was a blast to go down town in. Thanks again Lauren and Jim.

We rented the whole house for my bachelorette weekend....and had a BLAST! HIGHLY recommended for large groups or just individuals wanting the true New Orleans experience. The hosts were great, the house was beautiful and perfect for entertaining. The hot tub was cold....which was awesome since it was 105 degrees outside. The decor is fantastic....truly unique!! We also went on the "party bus"...and had a great time. Fun times! Thanks, Lauren!
